We are extremely proud once again to be supporting British Canoeing’s Senior canoe slalom team for the 2018 season.

Those with a keen eye for custom team kit will notice a design change for the 2018 season. Moving away from the a prominently white outfit, athletes competing at this years World Cup races, European Championships in Prague and the World Championships in Rio, will be sporting a navy blue and Union Flag look.  The new team kit compliments the official British Canoeing off water apparel perfectly.

Pete and Paul headed down to the High Performance Centre at the Lee Valley Whitewater centre to hand out the kit, meet up with athletes and coaches to discuss equipment feedback and capture some photographs of the kit in action in the hands of Great Britain’s finest slalom racers.

Pete Astles, Director Peak UK, “It is an honour to continue our strong relationship with British Canoeing, I’ve been supplying equipment to GB’s best athletes for the last 25 years, from the likes of Paul Ratcliffe and Helen Reeves and now Mallory Franklin and Joe Clarke. At Peak UK we’re all excited to see what this team can produce in the big races this season. I’d like to especially congratulate Beth Forrow on her selection into the team for C1W category, I first saw her paddle in 2016, it was clear then that a space on the Senior team was waiting for her!”

Paul Ramsdale, Designer Peak UK, “It’s been great to give the slalom team a new look for this year. I’m really pleased with how it has come out. Evidence has shown a relationship between feeling good in the equipment an athlete is wearing and their performance levels. So with this new design printed on to our Olympic Gold winning Racer ST we are sure to see Championship medal winning runs from the team in 2018”
