Winter with New Wave Kayaking

What a whitewater season, oh my word! It’s been a blast of a winter for us as we shape up for our summer season. After a host of Creeking courses in October we jumped to the Himalayas to share with 13 paddlers a host of some of the best whitewater Nepal has to offer!

We kept the ball rolling with more creeking in Swaledale, BCU courses and whitewater skills courses. The UK has really been delivering for us this season allowing us to really help our paddlers progress.

 

For now we have just returned back from an excellent time in Scotland which, as usual, delivered some superb water levels allowing us to share some great slides, drops and volume - what an absolute treat! This season we are joined by young gun level 5 coach Anthony Ing, who brings his brilliant sense of humour, style and charisma to our coaching team. We've also been putting the Peak UK One Piece suit through its paces as we’ve trekked through mud, bogs and brambles and as ever this suit can take the hits!!

For us next up we head out to the glorious Soca for 4 weeks of back to back coaching courses. The perfect spring playground for paddlers looking for good ice cream and the ultimate venue to top on their whitewater skills! All in all its shaping up to be a fun spring on the water! Before we head back out to America to enjoy some West Coast whitewater and a tour of the Rockies!
