Westburton Falls in huge water. A very high volume drop similar to being flushed down the toilet.

I have been using the Peak UK Whitewater One Piece Suit now for four years. In that time I have spent a lot of time in it. I am not going to write a review saying that this is the one and only drysuit available because that would make the review difficult for consumers to listen to. However I will tell you about my experiences with it...

What you get with the Peak UK suit is a suit that will perform in the most extreme kayaking conditions and will not fail you. For me this is the most important part of equipment that in some situations my life has depended on it.

A Scottish hike-in covering boggy terrain that is bad for dry suit material. The WW suit has been unaffected by this.

The leg zip gives great flexibility while paddling and allows easy access in and out of the suit. It also makes it an excellent suit to use for freestyle kayaking, as there is no shoulder zip to cause restriction. I work for a local search and rescue team where I use the suit for prolonged periods of being submerged. I have not had any leakage. It is worth knowing that keeping the zip lubed with an oil lubricant is very important. These lubricants are available from all kayaking and diving shops. The X4 material is fantastic and even after two years use it still beads water well.

I have used this suit in many different climates and environments and it always meets my high expectations. I have used it on creeks with little water in where impact with rocks is common and it has always faired well. Also I have used it on high volume rapids and waterfalls where high water pressure can cause zip or seal implosion. This has never happened with this suit. It is a piece of equipment that I would trust my life in and when I am out on my own and dropping into a rapid I am confident that it will never fail to perform.

As with all Peak UK Equipment you get the same excellent customer service and the Darley Dale Showroom is a great place to visit to try on any of the gear before buying it. I would highly recommend the Whitewater Suit. For the price, durability and performance it is a worthwhile investment!
