The Paddle Sports Show - 2026 Collection Launch

We’ve just returned from our annual visit to the pinnacle of all paddlesports get-togethers,  The Paddle Sports Show, Strasbourg, France. The Paddle Sports Show is a global trade show which we use as our platform to launch the newest and most exciting kit that will be available for the following year. Our visit to the show this year was no different, as we unveiled our new Collection for 2026. 

After two days of travelling (rubbing shoulders with ‘proper truckers’ in the truckers lounge on P&O ferries) and a further two days of trade stand set-up, we were ready to present our new collection. 

Our customers are welcomed with refreshments as they have an informative and entertaining presentation delivered to them by Pete; along with samples handed around and closely examined. This style of presentation can lead to a truly international feel, one meeting had customers from Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, Germany and Finland!! We also broadcasted the show presentation live on YouTube to all other dealers that couldn’t make the show in person. 

The women’s technical gear that included, Rapid Jacket, Rapid Pants and Rapid & Tour Suit - will not be available quite as soon, as we’ve taken our time to work closely with our fabrics partners to develop a brand new material which is hydrolysis resistance, made from recycled nylon yarns and features a bio-based, lightweight tricot. We are confident that this latest technical Japanese fabric will do justice to the high quality design of the garments it’s intended for. It’ll be worth the wait, we promise!

Furthermore, these technical items will now be available in unisex sizes, featuring slightly different features. For example, the Rapid Pants for women will still feature removable shoulder straps and a drop seat relief system - whereas the unisex sizes will benefit from fixed shoulder straps and a vertically orientated relief zip. In the Rapid & Tour suits, the womens sizes will sport the unique drop seat entry / relief zipper. The unisex version, will have a shoulder entry zip and a vertically orientated relief zip.    

Utilising the data from our extensive research and development from our #shepaddlespeak project, where we surveyed over 300 women and attended #shepaddles events; we are very proud to present an increased size offering in women sizes for a great selection of new and updated products. A host of garments, from 2026 onwards, will be available in sizes W10-18. 

The Freeride jacket has been an ever popular jacket within our line up, as a stable of intermediate and expert paddlers alike. For the 2026 season the Freeride feature a new midweight fabric, lightweight inner waist which is seam sealed in place, side pocket with gear clip and Bioprene outer wrist cones. Available in a cool black and brilliant bright red colour ways, the Freeride is ideal for almost all conditions. Not only available in Mens (XS-XXL) and Women’s (W10-18) sizing, but also available in Kidz sizes, K10 and K12, this is possibly the largest run of sizes we’ve ever produced for a single garment! Freeride for All…

Redesigned for 2026, one of my personal favourites, the Bagz Shorts will now feature twin, traditionally positioned, vertical zip pockets with gear loops & clips. The women’s sizes are equipped with a plastic press stud fly opening and flat lace waist system, and now enjoy a refined shorter leg length. Available in sizes S-XXL and W10-18. 

Our Neoskin range has evolved into Bioskin. Utilising a bio-based neoprene which, for the foam core material, uses natural renewable resources such as; natural rubber, tea stalks, vegetable oils and recycled seafood shells. Furthermore, the face fabric contain recycled yarns, Bioskin will continue be a staple part of all paddler’s kit collection. This Bioskin material is a low-carbon product as the raw materials are all sourced locally to our manufacturing partner, Bioksin yields a 52% reduction in carbon output when compared against the regular neoskin counterpart. Available in unisex size XS-XXL Black / Blue and women’s sizes W10-18 Black / Purple. 

Thermal Rashy Pants in women’s sizes have been remodelled with a new pattern and updated graphics / colour way. The new black / purple look compliments the Bioskin range nicely. 

Following on from the near complete spraydeck lineup re modelling last year, our Cockpit Cover for 2026 we see similar updates. These new covers will be constructed with Tyreprene, a neoprene that has a content of used car tyres within the internal foam, and the outer face fabrics will be made from recycled nylon yarns. We’ll be adding a new  XL / Huge size to accommodate the ever expanding WW boat market. 

We’ve invested a lot  of time refining and perfecting a neat solution to the seemingly eternal issue of deck release confidence and reliability. The new EZ Lever fitted to the latest EZ Deck delivers reliable and consistent deck releases, the simple yet effective integration of a three bar slide buckle to the release handles allows that user to simple pull straight back on the tag. The three bar slide adjusts the natural leverage point of the release and the deck pops off with ease! Have a look at this video of Bodie, from Paddle Peak, demonstrating a EZ Lever: 

We’ve enjoyed watching the introduction of the exciting new Olympic paddlesport discipline, Kayak Cross (KX) and for the past two years we’ve organised our own version of the event at our Peak Challenge weekend. 

To simplify the set up and and equipment, we’ve designed a pair of KX poles sleeves, that are fully custom printed and manufactured in our UK premises. These sleeves will fit a 34mm wide plumbers pipe wrapped in 60mm foam insulation. The draw cord closure for the sleeve doubles as the cord attachment / clip for the bearer line. Simply clip, slide out, and adjust the height with the bearer line tension. 

 A simple, lightweight and easy to install solution for any paddlesports club - without the need for extra strong bearer lines, inflation or special rigging. A real winner. 

As a continued progression of our More Sustainable approach, we’ve introduced a line of spares and aftercare products, that are great for in the field style repairs - including but not limited to; replacement PFD zip pullers, buckles, sliders and webbing. A highlight component being the Zlide On replacement zip pullers, available in two sizes: no5 and no10, compatible with all types of Peak PS zip featured products (excluding One Piece / YKK Aquaseal zips). 

After a successful and busy 3 days at the show, we packed our 10 x 10 m stand & 18 mannequins into a single Crafter van somehow, had a team debrief curry then hit the road home (via Customs and Border Force!! - thanks Brexit) We’d like to extend a huge thanks to our customers for making the trip over to France, it was great as always to spend time with you all and show you our latest Collection.
