Why should you be on the Peak PS team?: I love to inspire! As well as looking great doing it. I have used Peak PS since I began paddling and I remember receiving my first team top deck in 2011 and I was super excited!

What can you bring to the party?: The tunes and energy

How did you get into paddling?: My auntie Diane Woods raced slalom when I was younger. My grandparents inspired me by watching a recording of her silver medal winning run from the 1994 Junior World Championships and I always wanted to beat that (I was a very competitive child).

Achievements: Olympic Finalist at Tokyo. First British female to win a world championship medal in the Kayak Cross (Silver in Ausgburg 2022). Bronze in K1 at Senior Worlds in 2021. 5x European Champion across Junior, U23 and Senior in C1. 57 International medals as of 2022.

What's  your paddling goals for 2023? Win the World Championships at home. Become the Olympic Boat for Paris 2024

Best things about paddling: The uniqueness of each time you paddle the course. You can feel at harmony with the water to achieve great things. The experiences you gain from friends and competitors from around the world.

Best boating moment: Practising and practising for a fast upstream and finally getting it! But also being selected for the Olympic Games for Tokyo at the world championships in 2019.

Worst boating moment: Getting trapped on the blocks at the bottom drop at Lee Valley 1 month before the 2015 World Championships at home and having to swim
