Best things about paddling: The people we paddle with, the adventures at hand and the smiles that we see

Best boating moment: My old boating crew from Uni- Lynsey Evans, Paul Sheppard, Gav Winsbourough, Paul Symonds, and Pas Blackwell. Discovering the rivers of North Wales and the Alps for ourselves as they were not as easy to find out about back in the 90's with no internet forums and basic guide books. "Who really invented the boof?"

Worst boating moment: Running the search for Gav after he had died solo kayaking in Switzerland and finding him in a siphon

Other hobbies: Walking, biking, open canoeing, sea kayaking, snowboarding and skiing along with a bit of photography and DIY

Ultimate worldwide destination: I cant wait to go back to New Zealand for some more heli-kayaking and Nepal to see my dear friends over there, but I have to say there is nowhere better than my two homes, Austria and North Wales

Favourite food: Lamb from the field next to my house

Favourite drink: I am known for my fresh coffee but enjoy a good Squark Ale and the odd glass of red wine and port
