Peak UK & Plas Y Brenin

Since 2017 Peak UK have been proud partners with Plas Y Brenin, the National Mountain Centre.

Our partnership involves supplying the Brenin’s key paddlesport instructors with our latest equipment. They proudly show it off to their clients, but also evaluate its design and performance, and supply us with valuable feedback which we use in the development of future years gear. After a couple of years use, the gear gets returned to Peak UK for further wear and tear evaluation.

Clients can also enjoy using Peak UK gear as their equipment stores are fully stocked with our latest gear. Every course client also receives a discount voucher for Peak UK gear which can be used in PYB’s shop or on the Peak UK website.

Peak UK’s owner Pete Astles popped in last week to drop off the latest gear with the team. On the whitewater this year the PYB crew will be mainly orange, sporting our new Freerides, Combis and River Wrap PFDs. Pete also issued each coach with a Peak UK baseball cap, to offer well needed protection against sunburn on top!!

After a quick blustery team paddle just outside the centre Pete and the PYB team enjoyed a good catch up, meal and pint in the bar. Head of Paddlesport Peter Caterall commented “Huge thanks for coming over last week! The team are soooooo impressed with the gear again! “
