Clash Of The Olympians: the Nottingham Boater Cross series continues…

January 2017 saw our longest and toughest boater cross yet. To help burn off the Christmas calories and to introduce a whole new challenge, January saw the endurance boater cross. This longer event would test a paddler’s endurance and determination, seeing how long they could push themselves, which shouldn’t be a problem for our two Olympians that turned up for a shot at glory. We saw our regular Olympic gold medallist Etienne Stott, and two time Olympian who represented Nigeria, Johny Akinyemi. This built up for a good competition… (more…)
