Speed Skin 2 and Racer Pro PFD Peak UK is proud to introduce SpeedSkin 2 - a brand new fabric set to be the fastest performance wear on the water!
The stretch nylon outer shell and wicking stretch knit lining allow this hi-tech fabric to be worn next to the skin. It is highly breathable, durable and has an ultra water repelling super DWR treatment that beads the water away, and of course, it is waterproof to 25m.
Peak UK sent their Slalom Athletes out to the World Championships in Tacen, Slovenia this past September equipped with brand new GBR topdecks made from the special fabric and logos to compliment. The team had a good event seeing the C2 men qualify in first position, and brought back glowing reports about the new SpeedSkin 2 topdecks. SS2 Topdecks are available as Long Sleeve or Short Sleeve and red, white or blue in colour. What's more, all our SpeedSkin 2 topdecks will be made in house at our factory in Nottingham so Peak UK can also custom print this awesome fabric with your own text, logos or team names!
Peak UK have also added a brand new competition PFD to their range. The Racer Pro PFD is fully ISO approved and was developed with the help of Peak UK’s Slalom athletes. The PFD features a unique 3D design that allows the vest to mould to the body’s shape without distorting the construction. The exclusion of neoprene sides minimizes weight and bulk and the ultra narrow cut results in more freedom of movement. Velcro access to remove or add foam means that whatever event you're competing in you can be prepared with the correct amount. The Racer Pro was tested at the World Slalom Champs in Tacen this year and since hitting the high streets has also been very popular among Freestyle, Downriver and Surf kayakers looking for a low profile, high mobility PFD.
