For the next 7 days Steve tackled tight box canyons, big water rapids, thunder, lightning and a flash flood on the final day of the Zanskar.
Steve said that "The scenery and canyons just got better everyday, Phugtal Monasty was unbelievable and the Zanskar Gorge is and amazing place."
Steve is now in Peru where he has kayaked the headwaters of the Rio Apurimac and is now about to head into the central Peruvian Amazon. Peak UK team paddler John Blake is due to arrive soon and the boys are off to run some of the deepest and hardest canyons South America has to offer!
