The European Freestyle Kayaking Championships 2008 took place on the Mino River in Ourense North Spain last week. 12 countries entered over 150 paddlers to compete at the event which showcased a display of the best in freestyle kayaking from Europe’s top paddlers.

Europe’s top 12 squirt boat paddlers competed together in a mixed (unisex) competion. Peak UK Team Athlete, World Silver Medalist and British Champion Claire O´Hara put in fantastic
performances to finish top lady and take a step onto the podium winning the Bronze Medal, behind GB team mates Pete Cornes (Silver) and James Reeves (Gold).
